About the project
It is an experimental design aiming at studying the color of light. We aimed to create a comfortable atmosphere to relax in, with the help of three pure colored lights.
Inspiration
From segmentation of light and shadow to collision of surface and line, combining the concept of light, I find the idea “collision of color-color, color-outline”.
We designed a series of household lights and tried to utilize refraction of light when penetrating the acrylic sheets from different angles to get softer lighting. There are lots of possibilities for this experiment, and we explored many variations of it.
